how do i get to the eye of the north area. just got it and still kinda new to the game.

Need a bit more information. Which campaign did you start your character in and what level are you at the moment?

The questline for EotN only opens up after your character has reached level 10, and the main port towns are the starting point for the quests to get to the EotN.

Get to level 10 and travel to a port town - Lion's Arch, Kamadan or Kaineng Center, depending on where your character is. Take the quest from the appropriate NPC - Len Caldoron, Bendah or Minister of Maintenance Raiugyon respectively.
